Substance Abuse Prevention Education
The Hispanic Family Center has been selected as a premier provider of substance abuse prevention education in Camden County. The program utilizes the Botvin LifeSkills Training program which is, “a comprehensive, dynamic, and developmentally appropriate substance abuse and violence prevention program” designed for elementary school students.
This nationally recognized evidenced-based program is proven* to reduce the risk of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and violence. The program helps children develop healthy skills and coping mechanisms for situations they may face in livers. The LifeSkills program also helps to promote healthy and positive personal development.
