Health Education and Family Prevention Services
Assistant Program Director: Full time Assistant Director will assist the Program Director with the daily operations of prevention programs. BA degree and a minimum of one year supervisory experience required. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred with experience in social services or health education.
Parent Liasion: Full time parent liasion will be responsible for directing the Parent Leaders and volunteers with assigned duties. As well as acting as a point of contact for the Parent Advisory Board, Parent Leaders and volunteers with questions, concerns and ideas. He/she will work with the Family Success Center manager to provide appropriate linkages to services for consumers. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in Human Services, flexible schedule, and bilingual in English/Spanish.
Outreach Workers: (2) Part time Outreach Workers are needed for the LUCES HIV/AIDS prevention program to do outreach with persons living with HIV/AIDS and at-risk populations. Candidates must possess good communication skills and flexible schedule. 1-2 years experience in community education, social work, or related field required. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Resource Center
Outreach Workers: One full time and one part time outreach worker needed for new program. Outreach workers will work in collaboration with the One Stop Career Centers and other community partners to provide underserved populations with information regarding employment and training services. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, own transportation, and be bilingual (English/Spanish). Two to three years experience working in career services, outreach, social services, and/or teaching adults is required.
ESL/Civics Teacher: Part time teacher needed for ESL/Civics program at HFC. The instructor will give English language and civics education to the students to ensure they are able to attain citizenship and become engaged within the community. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and experience working and/or teaching adults.

Group Leaders: The Hispanic Family Center is seeking part time Group Leaders to serve as lead facilitators for groups of approximately 20 students in kindergarten through sixth grades. The Group Leader is responsible for implementing established curricula and assisting in the development of new activities that focus on academic and home work assistance; arts and culture; civic engagement and leadership; sports, health and fitness; and life and career skills. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or an Associates degree with three years experience. The Hispanic Family Center is looking for individuals with experience working with children and who have an interest in pursuing a career in education or early childhood development. Successful applicants must be able to pass criminal and child abuse background checks.

Internships
The
Hispanic Family Center offers an internship program to BSW and MSW students
enrolled in local colleges and universities. Students taking part in
the program are paired with an experienced staff member who also serves
as their internship advisor. HFC works with areas colleges to allow
