> In-Home Personal Care Assistance ServicesHFC's In-Home Services Program addresses the needs of those elderly members of the Hispanic community who are partially or fully shut-in and unable to attend to all of their needs. Specially trained bilingual Personal Care Assistants visit on a regular basis and provide as-needed care and assistance such as assistance with: chores, light meals, light house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.
One of the most important roles that the Personal Care Assistant serves is one of companionship. Many seniors who are homebound often do not have opportunities for basic human contact, but the Personal Care Assistant provides this contact for the individual.
