The Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey, Inc. (HFC) improves South Jersey residents’ health, opportunities and self-sufficiency by providing a wide variety of health and human services.
Throughout its 40 year history, Hispanic Family Center has met the emerging needs of Southern New Jersey’s residents. What started out as a grassroots advocacy organization delivering behavioral health services has become a comprehensive human services entity. HFC is an experienced nonprofit, with three locations in Camden and one in Gloucester County, serving nearly 10,000 clients annually through a diverse portfolio of program offerings for various populations.
HFC has continuously taken a leadership role in coordinating efforts with other community organizations to facilitate the provision of a full range of services for individuals and families in need. The organization works with a host of other entities to ensure appropriate access to services while maintaining a particular emphasis on promoting health, self-sufficiency and opportunities for its consumers.
Our mission is to provide the community with a broad range of culturally relevant social services and advocacy programs that promote and encourage empowerment and self-sufficiency.
Through our comprehensive programs and services, HFC seeks to address the immediate needs and long term (physical, mental, social, economic, and political) of the residents of Southern New Jersey, as well as establish itself as an instrument of change and a voice of power for the clients it serves and represents.
